Colorado Gives Day is an annual statewide movement to celebrate and increase philanthropy in Colorado through online giving. For the 7th consecutive year, Community First Foundation and FirstBank are partnering to present Colorado Gives Day on the 1st Tuesday of December. This year Colorado Gives Day is on Tuesday, December 4. Donations are accepted through ColoradoGives.org. Donations can be scheduled beginning November 1 and won't post until December 4.
On Colorado Gives Day, we ask you to give to Disability Law Colorado. For over 40 years, Disability Law Colorado has protected and promoted the rights of individuals with disabilities and older adults in Colorado. We are Colorado's Protection & Advocacy System appointed by the Governor of Colorado. We are also the home for Colorado's Long-Term Care Ombudsman and Long-Term Care Legal Assistance Developer -- both of which are designated by the Colorado Legislature. Our life-changing work centers on education, advocacy, legal representation, and public policy/legislative analysis.
Your Colorado Gives donation to Disability Law Colorado makes a huge impact in the lives of individuals with disabilities, elders and their families. At Disability Law Colorado we understand that disability rights are human rights. We stand poised to protect those rights and invite you to join us. Together we fuel the fire of disability rights advocacy across the Centennial state.
